HOW TO: GET A PENSION ESTIMATE

A pension estimate can help you figure out what your retirement will look like.
You can get one in just a few minutes on myOMERS.

If you don’t have an account, you can create one by visiting myOMERS.com and clicking Register now. Once you’ve signed in to your account, you can follow these steps to get your estimate:

  1. On your myOMERS dashboard, go to the left-hand menu and click My Calculators.
  2. Select Retirement Income Calculator.
  3. Confirm you’ve reviewed the RIE Disclaimer by ticking the box next to “I agree to the above disclaimer,” then click Next.
  4. Select your retirement dates using the pre-populated milestones that OMERS provides or inputting custom dates using the calendar, then click Next.
  5. If your earnings have changed in the last year or you anticipate an increase in the future, enter the increase as a percentage, then click Proceed with Estimate.
  6. Click View Summary to view your estimate.

    7. Your estimates will be saved to your account. You can view and print them at any time by clicking My Reports in the left-hand menu.
